Focusing in a Distracting World

We devote time, effort, energy, & money towards numerous things.  A lot of times, life leaves us drained – depleting our ability to focus on what really matters.  We clearly need to focus, we need to prioritize on what matters most, our relationship with God – even when I’m comfortable.  Some of us may need a wakeup call because we’re burning our wicks at both ends.  We choose to focus on “stuff” which causes us to be less effective in serving the kingdom.  Our perspective matters – we need to remember we’re all fighting a battle that challenges our focus daily, that we’re not perfect, and that we’re where we are to bring glory and honor to God.  We should be willing to challenge one another and gently remind one another to re-focus.

This reminds me of the comment made to my post today…we need to be re-programed to focus on God and not on the world/self.

Great reminders! When we focus on God and His Kingdom things just work out better, in all areas of our life.
