Growth Moment – Learning from Brian Tracy

Imagine being an International best-selling author of over 55 books.  Imagine being a sales and goals legend and Hall of Fame Speaker!

What shapes a person?  What helps people become successful?

In a back-and-forth exchange of goal-setting ideas with Success Magazine’s Darren Hardy, Brian Tracy revealed one element of his personal development:  He slept on the floor of a friend’s house, missed meals, after what he described as “bombing out of high school”.

Not exactly the best start for a hall of fame speaker – is it?  Yet this season of failure was actually one of preparation for immense future success.

Brian Tracy’s experience would humble any person.  His experience would cause most people to give up.  Yet, he attributes his success today from what he learned then from a book on goal setting. That book forever changed his life.

How is your life?  What season are you in?  What future experience are you being prepared for?

Right now we are in a season of travel. I’m realizing that there are some things I just have to let go of for now because they’re impossible while we are moving around like this. We are looking forward to getting back to Ukraine in Aug. and being more or less in one place for awhile.

As I reflect on your trip and what’s taken place I wonder if an increase in attention has some way helped people better connect to your work in Ukraine.

      • Caleb says :

Yes, when things go bad in Ukraine that puts it on the news here in the US. Which in a way helps us because people are more aware of the situation there than before and people are interested and want to pray.
